Case study
Otomoto: a stand that opens onto the New Mobility Congress stage
- Problem
- The Otomoto stand at New Mobility Congress in MCK Katowice was one of the larger ones at the event and sat right next to the stage, in one of the busiest parts of the venue. An island stand can be opened on all four sides or closed off in many ways. The question was how to set it up to make the most of being next to the stage.
- Solution
- We opened the stand towards the stage and limited the build to a single wall. The wall served as a backdrop for activity on the stand without closing the space. The centrepiece was a large LED screen showing the client's presentations. The rest of the floor became a café-style area with coffee from a barista, set up for relaxed conversations with the Otomoto team.
- Result
- The stand was clearly visible from both the stage and the audience, and its open form invited visitors in. They could talk to the Otomoto team over coffee and follow the panels on stage at the same time, without leaving the stand. The stand combined brand presence with active participation in the event.
Why we work this way at Amako
- Open towards the stageStand and stage in one line of sight.
- LED screen at the centreThe client's presentations as the main exhibit.
- Café with a baristaA place for relaxed conversations with the brand's team.
The Otomoto project shows that a good spot at a trade fair works best when the stand opens up to it rather than shutting it out.
