Promatic Group: setting a new bar for spectacle at ICE Barcelona
- Problem
- ICE Barcelona is the biggest and most spectacular iGaming event in the world, known for huge budgets and hard competition for visitors' attention. Every exhibitor there tries to impress with advanced AV technology, LED walls, large overhead structures, and dynamic light. In that technical noise, Promatic Group needed a design that would keep pace with the global players and also stand out through class, considered architecture, and a strong visual impression. The 200 m² space had to catch the eye from a distance in the huge Fira de Barcelona halls. Dozens of square meters of LED screens, dynamic lighting, and rigging had to be worked in so the technology showed off the client's machines and software rather than overwhelming them. And the large open space had to split into a public zone and an exclusive, separate VIP and B2B zone.
- Solution
- We developed a large island stand concept that became a technical focal point in the hall. We designed strong suspended truss structures with seamless LED screens and arc lighting; the rigging worked like a beacon, playing dynamic 3D animations and Promatic branding you could see from anywhere in the aisle. We used an elegant dark palette, deep matte, black, red, and graphite, broken up by accent LED lighting in the architectural gaps, which gave the machines and the presentation screens a cinematic, stage-like setting. The open showroom zone got a bold, lit floor guiding visitors around the newest machines, and the centre held an elegant bar area with a lit counter and closed rooms for comfort and discretion during high-value business talks. Because of the strict rules and time windows at Fira de Barcelona, we optimized the pre-assembly in the workshop, which allowed a fast, defect-free build on-site.
- Result
- The Promatic stand became one of the most distinctive and most photographed spots of the whole ICE Barcelona edition. The VIP zone hosted hundreds of investment and sales meetings, a quiet, high-end space in the middle of a loud event. A repeatable modular structure brought down the cost of rebuilding for later editions, so the savings could go into the newest AV software and 3D animation. Promatic Group came across as a mature, confident player in the global iGaming market and a strong representative of the Polish tech sector.
