Case study
Tauron: a stand with a mural, built in a day and a half
- Problem
- We had only a day and a half to build the Tauron stand at New Mobility Congress in MCK Katowice. In the same window a mural was to be painted on the back wall, and the graffiti artist needed one full working day for it. Both teams had to work on the same floor space, in a strictly agreed order.
- Solution
- We planned the order of work around the mural. The back wall went up in the first half of the first build day, so the artist could start painting straight away. We gave the artist not only the wall but the whole area directly in front of it, while we assembled the rest of the stand. The functional zone sat on the right-hand side: a bar with a barista, a storage room and a partly screened corner for conversations, giving guests more privacy.
- Result
- The stand was built in a day and a half, mural included, and the artist still had a full day of work. To finish, we placed tables, chairs and flower planters in front of the finished graffiti wall. The result was a space for meetings and a break that also showed off the artistic character of the stand.
Why we work this way at Amako
- A day and a half to buildThe whole stand and the mural in one time window.
- Wall ready from the startThe back wall stood by midday and painting began at once.
- Two teams, one floor spaceSeparate work areas for the artist and the build crew.
The Tauron project shows that on a short build the order of work decides the result. A well-planned sequence can fit into a day and a half even an element that needs a full day on its own.
